«Искусственные общества и информационные технологии», посвященное
докладу Guillaume Deffuant (Institut national de la recherche agronomique,
Париж, Франция).
Тема доклада: Reducing perceived inequalities tends to increase the average
opinion about each other.
Краткая аннотация: We consider a recently published model in which agents
hold opinions about each other and opinions during random
pair interactions. This model shows striking patterns: without gossip, initialised at
0, the average opinion increases until stabilising at a significantly positive value;
with gossip, the average opinion fluctuates around a negative value. We derive a
model of the average effect of noise which explains these patterns as resulting from
the competition between a negative and a positive biases. It also explains why the
negative effect of gossip occurs only when the reputations of the agents are very
unequal and impacts more strongly the agents of low reputation.
