The
paper considers theoretical and empirical approaches to the investigation of
Internet social networks. A detailed review of the well-known results of
modeling different aspects of forming Internet Social Networks in terms of
individual rationality of agents. We discuss recent
models of different aspects of Internet networks, based on individual
rationality principle. The abilities of extending a basic game-theoretic model
of achieving the equilibrium in the social network formed are discussed. The
paper also includes some examples of social networks.
