The
modernization of economy will inevitably affect the environment. In
order to
make it positive, first, it is necessary to state and solve the
problem of
ensuring ecological safety of modernization processes. The offered
modification
of indicators of economic efficiency of the investment
projects, implying the
involvement of an indicator of environmental damage into them, can
become an
economic barrier on the way of realization of
ecologically dangerous
technologies. The second task is the modernization of nature protection
activity. The analysis of efficiency of modernization
of nature protection
activity, based on the criterion of prevented damage for different
industries,
is carried out. Methods of estimating the damage
on a basis of the interbranch
balance and by exarticulation of ecologically caused expenses in the
local
budgets structure are offered.
