Pominova I.S. Registration as an Institution of Specification of Real Estate Property Rights. // Economics of contemporary Russia 2010.  ¹3 (50) Ñ.52-65.
Institution of real estate property registration is a necessary condition for the creation of effective land market. Three possible contexts of analyzing this institution are examined in the article: a narrow technical context (registration as a public service); a technical legal one (including the mechanisms of litigation) and a broad institutional context where all stages of registration process are presented (adjudication of property rights, demarcation and documentation). Within the bounds of the latter the typology of existing registration systems is introduced, which is followed by an evaluation of Russian registration system based on this typology.
