The
article justifies the basics of the sustainable development. The main
principle
is parity of economic and environmental values for the society. The
interlinked
technological and environmental approach is aimed at innovative
development.
Two ways of its implementation are demonstrated. The new system of
environmental, economic, institutional and supporting sustainable
development
tools is described in detail. Twofold role of environment protection in
the
market economy is stressed. Internal links within the toolkit are
specified. It
is proposed how to use the principles of sustainable development for
overcome
the financial and economic crisis.
