T.I. Outlines of Russia's Current Industrial Policy.
National
industrial policy is examined as a branch of economic policy, that is,
the
authorities' way of acting and their system of measures in industry as
well as
in science and technology. Proposed are methodological principles of
systemized
industrial policy taking into account the factor of economic policy
pursued by
the authorities of the Republics making up the Russian Federation, and
by those
of the economy branches and the Russian Federation's other subjects of
economic
management. The task facing the authorities is presented as a
combination of
techniques that meet the interests of all the industrial policy
subjects. It is
argued that the social, cultural, and historic context of the taken
measures is
of principle importance.
