D.Ye. Humanitarian Traditions of Russian Political-Economic
Thought and the Economic Reality
In the article the author considers the linkage
between political-economic research efforts and humanitarian
orientations which are immanent in civilizations. There is
substantiation of the thesis that the difference of the orientations
originates a set of values of economic agents, and this set justifies
the specifics of economic thinking and behavior. On this methodological
basis the author researches the political-economic differences between
the so-called Western and Russian civilizations. Along with the author
analyzes the phenomenon of discrepancy between the practiced economic
policies and humanitarian orientations which are characteristic of
Russian school of political-economic thought.

O.V. Potential of the Evolutionary Approach in an Economics of
Contemporary Russia
The article reveals the necessity and some
directions of the development of economic theory on the basis of
evolutionary approach, its interaction with the formation and
civilization approaches applied to economic systems research. The
substance of economic genetics is disclosed on the assumption of the
theory of endogenous factors of production, the definition of genotype
and phenotype of labor. The article also proves the accord of
transformational and transactional factors, costs and profits, and
gives the evolutionary interpretation of economic culture and economic
content of space and time. The author suggests a new structure of the
economic theory object, governed by five basic and four meso levels of
global economy structure. He exposes problems of criteria
classification and economic system evolution, as well as the
possibilities of a considerable extension of the system of indicators
and their functioning and development, assisted by the endogenous
factors recombination.

B.A. Schumpeter, the Mainstream, and the Evolutionary Theory of
Economic Development
The article is devoted to the some problems of
outsider position of the evolutionary theory of economic development of
J. Schumpeter in the mainstream considered in the three aspects –
semiotic, evolutionary and ideological. This position in the Russian
mainstream is explained: 1) in the pre-reform (Soviet) period by
non-acceptance of the market competitive system; 2) in the post-reform
(post-Soviet) period by non-acceptance of the Schumpeterian
competition, in the Western mainstream is explained: (1) by difficulty
of incorporating Schumpeter's theory in the mainstream; (2) by absence
of the formalized theory ready to force out the mainstream paradigm of
the linear-competitive theory of economic development. In the author's
opinion an illusion is created that Schumpeter belongs to the
mainstream, hence the mainstream scholars should discover for
themselves the unknown Schumpeter.

V.N. What State our Economy Need: «Strong» or «Weak»?
The article declares the position, according to
which the solving of the key problems of our economy - namely cutdown
of poverty and growth of real production - requires strengthening but
not weakness of state interference in the economy. A complex of
interconnected measures is suggested, aimed at achievement of the
mentioned goals, and based not on liberal position, but on
neokeynesianiam.
