Tatarkin A. I. Priorities of Socioeconomic Development
of the Ural Federal Region.
Geopolitical, economical and social prerequisites
for formation of the Ural Federal Region, its resource and production possibilities
in the context of the region of a new socioeconomic format are analyzed.
The paper testifies the priorities of socioeconomic development as well
as organizational and economic technologies of the current transformations
which are the pivot of the Conception of socioeconomic development of the
Ural Federal Region for the period up to the year 2010. A new socially
oriented paradigm of regional economic policy is built into the Conception
being worked out by the Institute of Economics Ural Branch RAS. Its peculiarities
and elements are thoroughly analyzed. Development and improvement of integration
processes of the government, science and manufacturing as an effective
form for solving social, economic, ecological and power problems of the
region are of special attention.
