Dmitriev A. L. The XX Century and Economics.
The article informs on the meeting of the Section
of Social-Economic Problems and Statistics of the Houses of Scientists
named after Gorky RAS held in December 2000. The scientists from St-Petersburg
Economical-Mathematical Institute and those of St-Petersburg State University
gave presentations on outstanding achievements of economics in the XX century:
the theory of economic balance, macroeconomics, game theory, creation and
use of optimization patens in economy. The article gives the data on the
poll conducted among the scientists of St-Petersburg and Moscow on the
most significant discoveries of the XX century. A majority of those polled
named Keincien theory, neoinstitutionalism and “input-output” method of
V.V. Leontiev.
