The paper considers the properties and peculiarities of some market
mechanisms connected with spreading technological innovations in the conditions
of changing demand and competition among producers. A logistic approach

Calculation Model of Money Circulation Rate Parameters for Regional
Systems.
This paper considers the branch macroeconomic system model formulated
on the basis of the Fisher's commodity-money equilibrium equation. The
model describes relation between a money supply, necessary for reproductional
process maintenance within the region, and branch economical system parameters:
total assets, assets turnover and the added value factor.

The Lesson of Russian Reform: Private Property can be created by
private investments rather than through free privatisation.
Privatisation in Russia has lead to a new form of property,i.e. "privatised"
property which differs both from the state and private property and faces
many problems resulting from the lack of legitimacy and stability. The
article considers the causes of this outcome and possible ways of improving
the situation.

Reformation of the Defence Complex of the Russian Federation.
Development of the defence concept and a system of measures for reformation
of armed forces and military industrial complex has been under discussion
for almost 10 years. This work attempts to describe the factors influencing
the defence complex of Russia regardless of its internal status. Two major
groups of factors typical of the defence complex are described. The first
group comprises conditions for self-development of the complex as well
as for its influence on the outside processes.The second group consists
of a series of measures proposed for implementation, no matter what the
military reform would be like. These measures could facilitate the rational
transformations within the system of Russia's military security.

Japanese Corporate System: Forecasts And Realities.
The discussion about variety of effective models of market economy
has led to collision of opinions on the Japanese corporate system. The
paper argues against the assumptions of crash of the Japanese model in
modern conditions. The reasons for such assumptions are considered. New
statistical data are submitted to testify that both lifetime employment
system and the structure of stable shareholders are still retained in Japanese
corporations.

Orientations of Russian Reforms and Foreign Experience (comments
on the Matsumoto's paper). Orientations of the Russian reforms are
considered in deciding on the model of corporate management. The necessity
to account for the Japanese experience for institutional transformations
in domestic economy is proved. The value of the Matsumoto's paper to realize
this experience is commented. The results of activity of Russian financial-industrial
groups after August, 1998 are presented.

Computer Strategies in Teaching Economics.
An attempt is made to generalize the strategies to create software
for computerizing the teaching of quantitative methods of economic analysis.
These strategies have been developed in CEMI RAN and probed for the course
"Operations Research at the Economics Department of Moscow State University.
The lecture courses in qualitative analysis methods have been computerized
. Computer based teaching system is proposed where hypertext features combined
with possibilities of expert systems bank are used. A possibility to elaborate
such instrumental means is shown with an example of teaching the expert
system "Strategy of trade partnership" made together with Dr. R. Mockler
(School of Business Administration", St. Johns University, New York, USA}
for teaching the computer assisted course "International Management".

Social and Economic Problems of Russian Academic Science.
Indicators of academic sector of the Russian science are analyzed and
compared with those of the Russian R&D as a whole.Regional problems
of academic science are investigated. It is shown that the lowest level
of wages of scientists in relation to the average wages in regional economies
is typical of the most remote regions as well as the largest scientific
centers of science, first of all, Moscow. Integration of academic science
and higher education is discussed, and analysis of demand on scientists
and engineers from the most developed countries is given. Results of investigation
show the growing role of academic sector in 1990-1999 and increasing attention
to its potential which concentrates the main part of the best Russian scientists.

Category Of Ownership In Russian Civil Law.
In the article finds development Hegel's conception of the ownership,
as the natural characteristic of the person. There are discovered the main
reasons of crisis conditiones in the Russian theory of the property, by
means of the ftmctional analysis ofsystemforming categories of the civil
law. For to overcome the crisis, it is offered to refuse from pandect classification
of institutes of the civil law and to use the institutional system, lying
in foundation of the theory of the French civil law and english ° american
system private law.
